45th FILM FESTIVAL STARTED

The ceremony of handing the keys of  the city to the actors and spectacular firework, on the Summer scene in the Fortress in Nis opened the 45th Film festival. By tradition, the Mayor of Nis, Mr. Milos Simonovic, symbolically handed over the key of the city, to this year jury president, actress Ljiljana Dragutinovic. Before the official opening of the Festival actors and guests of the Festival gathered at the traditional reception at City Hall, from where all of them walked to the Fortress.Film opening ceremony of the Festival in Nis, was attended by Ivica Dacic, Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs and Nebojsa Bradic, Minister of Culture.

Of the 14 films in the official program, the decision of the Council of the Festival will have four of its projection in the hall of the Club of the Military of Serbia. Because of the provocative scenes, special, late, term in the only Nis theater, received the “Srpski film”. At first evening audience could see films "Medeni mesec" by Goran Paskaljevic and "Kenjac" by Antonia Nuica, аnd to 26th of August will be shown 12 films: on the Summer stage (from 08:30 pm) „Zena sa slomljenim nosem“, „Ma nije on takav”, „70 i dva dana”, „Selo gori… i tako“, „Motel nana“, „Plavi voz“, „Besa“, „Neka ostane medju nama“, „Svet je veliki i spasenje je iza ugla”, and from 06:00 pm from 22ed August in the cinema of Club of Military of Serbia film  „32. decembar“ , „Flesbek“, „Neke druge price“ and  25/26. August at 00:30am „Српски филм".

Organizers with an official program of the festival, organized a number of ancillary events, such as the documentary film “Stories from Mexico”, on the occasion of 200 years of independence of Mexico and the Mexican Revolution 100 years ago. With the beginning of this years festival has announced and reconstruction activities on the Summer Stage in Memorial Park “Bubanj” which next year will be a new area for the development of the following  programs on the “Film festival” in Nis.
